Masters Level Intern

Caitlyn Conlin

Hi, I’m Caitlyn.

I’m grateful to be joining Desert Village as a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern, supporting children, teens, young adults, and families as they navigate life’s transitions and challenges.

I see therapy as a space for connection, exploration, expression, and growth.

My approach is compassionate, creative, and centered on being present with each client. I value building a trusting relationship where clients feel safe to share their experiences and find encouragement along the way.

I strive to create an affirming space where each person’s unique strengths, needs, and ways of experiencing the world are valued.

With children, I often incorporate play and creative expression, recognizing that play can be a meaningful way for children to communicate, share their feelings, and process what they are working through.

Before beginning my journey in counseling, I spent many years in the arts as a performer, creator, educator, and program director. This background continues to shape my approach today, allowing me to bring creativity, imagination, and connection into the therapy space.

As an intern under close supervision, I am committed to continued learning and growth so that I can provide thoughtful, compassionate care to the clients and families I serve.

My hope is to create a space where you feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged as you continue your own journey.
