In selecting an animal to represent our mission, we were inspired by the value of family displayed in quails. After their young are born, quail families remain together and are often seen with the parents bookending the children to both guide their way and aid should their young fall behind. Here at Desert Village we value the important role family plays within a child’s progress.

Desert Village Therapy is a unique business structure in that each therapist is their own entity (other than interns). Each therapist runs their own LLC. Families and clients have the opportunity to submit an inquiry through the contact form which is monitored by Katie Meyerowitz and Lisa Gollenberg to be matched with a therapist at earliest availabiliy. Once matched, the client is seen solely through the individual therapist’s LLC and all involvement from Desert Village Therapy stops. This allowed families to be connected with providers. Families also have the opportunity to email providers directly should they not wish for Desert Village Therapy to be involved in the process.

Therapists listed are one’s who have come together with a shared ideology around therapy. In establishing Desert Village Therapy Center, our aim is to create a community where clinicians can be both independent and have a sense of support. We aim to increase accessibility to services by connecting families with providers.
Each therapist functions under their own LLC and is responsible for all their own client work.
Desert Village has started to take on interns who are currently in their graduate programs. Interns are supervised by Katie Meyerowitz and/or Lisa Gollenberg and see client’s under the Desert Village Therapy umbrella.
