Jeni Dukes

Hello, my name is Jeni!

I am excited to be interning at Desert Village and am grateful for the opportunity to work with you and your family. I am also working on my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Arizona University.

I am passionate about supporting children, teens, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, such as changes at home or school, relationships, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.

In session, I like to use creativity, humor, and curiosity to create a safe and comfortable space where you can grow and explore. My therapeutic orientation blends person-centered therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and I often integrate play and art into the process.

I know starting therapy can feel scary, and I feel honored when someone lets me be part of their journey.

I strive to meet clients with compassion, acceptance, and respect.

As an intern working under close supervision, I am dedicated to personal growth, building experience, and continuously honing my skills. My goal is to guide clients in discovering ways to cope, manage emotions, build confidence, and move toward a more comfortable and meaningful life.
