Anna Din
Hi! I’m Anna (she/her), and I’m so honored that you’re here. I know that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming or uncertain, and you’ve taken a brave step.
My goal is to create a safe, accepting space where you, your children, and your family feel seen, heard, and valued just as you are.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona. I am currently an intern at Desert Village while pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Arizona University.
I have a passion for helping children navigate emotions, hidden challenges, adversity and am dedicated to supporting neurodivergent minds (both children and adults).
My approach to therapy is child-centered, grounded in compassion and cultural sensitivity. I incorporate parts work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy modalities (ACT), while integrating sensory-based techniques, play (of course!), and expressive art. As an intern, I’m committed to continuous growth and intend to adapt to what each client uniquely needs.
I value creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore and express themselves, feeling truly accepted as they are. I believe in creating an authentic and genuine relationship with my clients to foster trust and meaningful connection. Above all, I believe that every person belongs in this world, even when societal systems haven’t made room for those who don’t fit the typical mold.
I’m committed to walking alongside you and providing support tailored to your unique journey, however your story unfolds.
